Offsite manufacturing and construction expert - working in the offsite technology supply-chain to improve productivity.
These are the definitions from some of the Speakers at the Construction Productivity conference - in London on 21 November 2019.
It is interesting to see the diversity of interpretation of the word PRODUCTIVITY from this small sample of Speakers at the event. It would be great to hear your definitions in the comments below...and perhaps what you feel can be done to address poor productivity in the construction sector?
I am pleased to be Chairing this conference but I think it will be challenging to gain a consensus on where to start tackling construction's productivity conundrum!!

5 年The Business Dictionary defines productivity as a measure of the efficiency of a person, machine, factory or system in converting inputs into useful outputs. Productivity is a critical determinant of cost efficiency and with construction statistics finding that only 64% of the hours worked are considered to be productive – it is an ongoing concern for the construction sector.
