By far one of the best ways to see engagement and get those likes up on a post is to write content that is inspirational, positive and has that feel good factor for everyone.
People on LinkedIn love to hear stories of success or winning, when the odds are stacked against us, it's what brings ups all together. Remember the platform is made up of professional business people rather than your every day Tom, Dick or Harry, so positivity and success is something that we all want to have in common!
You can also share your blog posts, articles or website on LinkedIn, and it is a great way to increase your reach, build brand awareness, and spark engagement. But don't forget that LinkedIn is a B2B (business to business) platform whose users are actively looking for content related to their industry so it all depends on your clients. This makes it an ideal platform for sharing cause studies, portfolios, or success stories too!
Publishing content directly to LinkedIn might bypass your blog and website, but it can offer more visibility on your social networks, it's a win-win. So why not consider publishing how-to and list-style posts exclusively on LinkedIn so that it's a little different from other content!
Everyone also loves a good image or video post, sometimes reading can seem a bit boring if you're not in the mood, but having someone talk to you through a video while you're cooking at home, on the train to work or just relaxing in bed can be much more beneficial (as well as the odd funny post too - we all love to laugh!)
