What are Your Core Values?

Knowing and understanding your core values is of the utmost importance, yet in reality very few of us know what our core values are. This “not knowing” is why we so often feel compromised, dissatisfied or unfulfilled. If you find yourself in these situations, you might be reacting to your core values being compromised.?
Do any of the following scenarios resonate with you? ?
????Not speaking up in the moment when you disagree with what someone says or does.
????Setting goals and not achieving them.
????Being unhappy at work, in your friendships or relationships.
????People-pleasing and not considering yourself and your own needs.
To avoid the above, it’s important that your actions are aligned with your values, because this means you are doing the things that are important to you. If you haven’t given much thought to your values and would like to figure out what they are, these questions will help:
1.?Who inspires you, and why?
2.?What typically makes you angry?
3.?What are you most proud of??
4.?When are you at your happiest?
To make changes in your life and move more towards consistently feeling content, fulfilled and understood, start incorporating these values into your everyday life, particularly in your dealings with other people – whether strangers or?the people closest to you.?Your values may shift over time, but once you recognise the importance of knowing what they are, you will find yourself thinking about them more and more and ultimately?incorporating them into your life more.??
