What is your choice today?

As I had a coaching call with a CEO this morning, he shared that he felt compelled he needed to step away from some project work that he had been involved in for several years. In the conversation the conversation evolved to how we all have seasons in our life where we grow and expand where we land at a crossroads.  One choice we can decide to make in our lives is how we decide to see something. We can choose to see things from a perspective of loss and heartbreak or we can choose to see it from a place of new opportunities. It is interesting to say this as I know someone reading this today has experienced a realization that may have outgrown where they were to where they are now. It can be difficult to understand that to go to a new level of growth there are things that will have to be let go because it no longer serves. You may be wondering, "Tricia, how do I move forward with a mindset of choice that there is opportunity in this decision of giving something up? I am so lost, and feel alone in being understood. I don’t know if I can find a way...."

 All I can share from my heart is that in every situation there is another side of the page we may not be able to see yet.  Often times we need to release so space opens up for new opportunities to present itself. During these times it can be difficult to see what is in front of us and we cling to the security of what we have been comfortable with. However, we must believe that something beautiful can grow from the darkness. Perhaps it is a deeper relationship with someone that you disconnected from in the past. Perhaps it is a closer walk with spirit and with yourself that you never thought possible. Perhaps it is mentoring someone else that is facing what you have faced and you can give unconditional love that is unmatched. It could be journaling through the process to remind yourself of where you want to have happen for your personal success. It is in that; you may find that the release of the situation becomes such an easy choice.

Today we can all choose to leave something or go to something. I don't know about you but I hold to the feeling that going to something can be a remarkable experience. It can open pathways and channels that have never been presented.
