Is your challenge to getting coaching clients ......
?Your marketing?
?Your offer?
? Your visibility?
?Your limited beliefs?
Do your clients......
??Lack awareness of the concept of coaching?
??Is there a cultural change?
??Other?
Marketing is the lifeblood of your coaching business.
Why? Because if people don’t know about you, how can they hire you as their life/career/wellness coach?
Your life coach training is worthless if you don’t have any clients.
Having a super sexy website is pointless if you cannot drive traffic to generate clients.
And writing an e-book is a waste of time if you don’t have people to sell it to.
A big mistake some coaches make that can slow them down is trying to spread themselves too thin and try and do everythinggg!
Someone may have told you to “just get out there and talk about your business.” However, not marketing with a purpose or strategy is how you end up exhausted and deflated.
Don't let this be you.
So, if you are:
1) Currently posting on Pinterest
2) Firing up your Facebook page and posting *sometimes*
3) Trying to get your LinkedIn page finished
4) Emailing people randomly
5) Trying to get speaking engagements
6) Writing an e-book ....and so much more…
STOP ??
I would recommend to be really good at doing ONE thing. Learn and master the marketing channel so you excel at it.
More importantly, you don’t have to be good at all of the marketing platforms to support yourself as a life or career coach.
I want you to enjoy marketing, as much as I do!
Start with what you like to do in terms of communication (speak to groups at networking? Talk with people one-on-one? Write long-form articles like blogs? Engage in short-form communications like LinkedIn or other social media where your target market hang out?).
The second stage after finding out how YOU like to communicate is how we can find your magical clients.
If it's just you running your business, your marketing needs to be planned and focused.
So, let’s say you help professional women find a career and work they love, and you like to communicate via LinkedIn, which is where they will be. Instead of doing everything and feeling overwhelmed, you can find an experienced LinkedIn coach with a proven track record, and learn how to find and build relationships with your potential clients. (I, of course can help you do jus that if you are curious)
You will spend time optimising your profile to stand out from other coaches and 'speak' to your ideal client so that you understand their needs.
Once you are at this stage, you can create engaging content and learn the framework to be a master, other opportunities will follow from networking. I have invited speakers who are using LinkedIn to have a speaking opportunity at our networking events for example.
or, you may get invited to be a podcast guest as someone was watching your great content and thought you could add value.
Once you focus on results for one thing, others follow!
Do you need help to figure out who you want to serve so you can market to them? How to sound appealing to your clients so they want to work with you?
