What Is Your Calling
Life is a crazy and funny thing. I have had an amazing journey at the age of 53. I have had the opportunity to be a part of the 82nd Airborne, 1st Special Forces Group, the Agency, and an instructor for the coveted blue Infantry cord and Military mountaineering course. I have traveled the world from South East Asia to Iraq. After retirement, I owned a martial arts school and in 2008 my family and I traveled to Dallas Texas to become a police officer.
After almost 5 years with the PD, I transitioned to private security, and my experience in that field is listed in my profile. I had a calling approximately 2 years ago to go to Liberty University and finish my degree. I have completed my degree in June and God has placed a new calling on my heart so I am leaving the security industry full time and will write a new chapter in my life. I will be teaching high school World History and coaching Football and Wrestling.
I continue my selfless service as a public servant it will just be in a different venue and that venue will be a light in the darkness for our future leaders of the world. My goal is not to just teach history but to have the students understand how they can become a part of history. Follow your calling even when it is completely off track from what you think you should be doing. Being in line with God's calling can never be a bad thing. God bless.
Congratulations.

3 年WHAT????? Well, it seems to be such a NATURAL transition! Lol. You have quite an arsenal of experience should you need it in today's educational "experience". You won't need it because they will love and respect you just like we did! Congratulations on taking what will be the most rewarding leg of your journey!
