You control this through your actions. How you treat people, how you conduct business, your ethics and how you treat others all combine to form your brand. If you like how people perceive you then keep it up. But if you are not happy with how people see you or what they say about you then you need to make an effort to rebrand.

- Most importantly watch what others say about you, what your competitors say and what your clients say they like best about working with you. Your brand is how others perceive you... not how you see yourself.
