Record After the Fact is on all WatchGuard Systems.
THE POWER TO GO BACK IN TIME AND RECORD AN EVENT AFTER IT HAPPENED. Sometimes, there just isn’t enough time to press record, and the opportunity to capture critical video evidence is thought to be lost. Record-After-the-Fact (RATF) provides the ability to go back in time and capture the video from the event days after it happened. NEVER MISS AN INCIDENT If agency policies dictate, the 4RE In car System and VISTA body-worn cameras can be configured for continuous background recording, ensuring events are always recorded – never missed

4 年I recently got a crash course in RATF during a customer-facing joint meeting. A couple minutes of pre-event recording or fancy hardware triggers (that can fail or go uncharged) just don’t stack up when you absolutely need video.?

4 年yep. If an agency is using body cameras and/or in-car video that doesn't have the RATF feature, then it can be perceived as actually hiding something from the public, which goes against having cameras in the first place. WatchGuard's RATF is the only solution for full disclosure and transparency.
