What is your 2024 success story?

For anyone in the middle of a struggle to define what their 2024 success story looks like? this newsletter is for you.?

At the end of each year I like to take the time to journal and reflect on what has been a success story versus what challenged my business. This reflection is then broken down into the 4 quarters so that patterns become clear and as a business owner I can then strategically map out the powerful steps I wish to take in the next calendar years.?

Studies show that a quarterly window is ideal for setting and accomplishing professional and personal goals.? It’s long enough to see real results but short enough to keep up momentum and motivation. It is also proven that when you have the power of a like-minded community to lean on, the doors of opportunity for you to reach those goals open faster and you become more accountable.

What I have learnt is rejection is the ultimate redirection to something so much better. It opens your eyes to what is possible and empowers you to become the leader of your own destiny.

When I started my first business at 24 nobody believed I could do it on my own. Everyone rejected the idea of creating my own PR business and instead told me I should find a 'nice man' , get married and study interior design so I could create a fabulously inspiring home for my family.

This rejection built a global business anchored to 3 core values; passion, integrity and delivery. Not only did I build a team of 22, I attracted and partnered with the world's top performing brands, celebrities and thought leaders through the power of those 3 values and advocacy because I committed to human connection and 3 coffee dates per week no matter where I was in the world.

While I built this business few people knew what was going on behind closed doors as a single mama of one. It took 12 years to navigate the family law courts and find a solution to a challenge I faced which included finding protection and freedom (you can read more about this in a Marie CLaire Magazine article here).

In 2017 I won the keys to freedom and abundance and then I had a thought. What if I started again, created something new, stepped forward and shared the power of my story. What would happen?

I cannot tell you how many times I coffee dated to share this idea and how many times it was rejected and the advice given was to stay in my PR lane.

The thing is I trust myself and I believe in the possibilities of life.

That’s when I created Powerful Steps and built a global community of like minded women.

?? Married my soulmate.

Launched my Powerful Stories podcast which is in the top1.5% in the world???

And published my book Self Belief is Your Superpower giving keynotes to ASX listed companies in Australia and Masterminds in America ??

Here’s what I’ve learned:

Rejection is the ultimate redirection even though you don’t know it at the time which is one of the top reasons I created the Business Attraction Program which kicks off 14 February 2024 for a small group of like-minded female entrepreneurs and leaders????

Today my life is one of balance and fulfillment because I have the opportunity to wake up with a happy heart which is the ultimate magnet for miracles.

I know the best is yet to come because I believe in the dreams I have and am not afraid to make them reality ????

By sharing these personal insights I believe they may have triggered a time you felt like you were being rejected but it really was a redirection - celebrate that milestone and celebrate the person you are today who is more than capable of translating those big goals you have into reality with the right support and cheer squad.
