“Women instinctually know how to nourish each other, and just being with each other is restorative” ~ Tanja Taaljard
I heard their laughter before I saw them. Friends. They've been meeting together for decades, celebrating each other, talking about life and travels and matters of the heart.?
The joy on their faces, the mischief in their smiles, and the comfort in their posture all illustrate the depth of their friendship. The time, energy, and love invested in one another shines through each one of them!
What we pay attention to grows. Period. Interested in growing?stress? Pay attention to the news. Want to feed jealousy??Pay attention to social media. What to fuel?sadness? Pay attention to unhappy people and what they complain about.
What if - instead - you determine what seeds in your life require hydration.????
Pay attention to nature. Pay attention to friends. Pay attention to music. Pay attention to young couples in love. Pay attention to birds in flight. Pay attention to laughter and delicious food and inspiring art. Let's get out and water the parts of ourselves that are parched and in need of attention.
TAKE ACTION:?Decide to pay?attention to a friend who you miss. Pick a time to meet - for longer than a lunch hour. Dedicate time to talk, laugh, cry, reminisce, and rejuvenate. Watch your life grow happier in an instant! ??
Make it a strong day! ??????

7 个月I love this so much. Being present is something I’m constantly working on because my present is almost always pretty awesome. When I manage to get out of my head and appreciate what’s right in front of me, I instantly feel myself relax.
