What are you waiting for?

What are you waiting for?

So many companies struggle to tap into the wealth of ideas that their employees can contribute to improve the way work gets done.

That’s partly because they underestimate the cumulative impact from the "mother lode" of small improvement ideas that can come from their team members. They think only big, groundbreaking innovations can make a difference. It’s like scoffing at the power of saving pennies that can accumulate like compound interest into a small fortune over time.??

Another fallacy is the belief that employees will routinely bring ideas to their managers if the company just uses an “open door policy.” Fact is, most employees rarely step up to speak out on their own with improvement ideas. They’re either too busy, too intimidated, or they think they’ll just be ignored.

You need to coax them out of hiding with structured, routine processes that actively engage people and generate ideas from them. Think of it like mining for gold – you have to dig to uncover those shiny nuggets.

So stop waiting for the wealth of employee ideas to pop up on their own, and start mining for it as part of your ongoing regular work routine.?

Click on the link below today to learn how systematic continuous improvement processes can propel the performance of your organization – one small bit of golden genius at a time.
