Known as the iGeneration, Post-Millennials or even the Homeland Generation, those in Gen Z are generally pegged to birthdates between 1993 and 2010. Marketers need to pay attention to Gen Z, which made up almost 26 percent of the U.S. population in 2015—a larger group than Baby Boomers or Millennials, according to Forbes.
Generation Z was the first generation to have nearly universal access to the Internet, and most in this group are naturals around digital devices, especially smart phones, tablets and laptops.
Gen Z people want speed in their technology and social networking, and like Vine and emojis. But what else is essential in understanding this generation?
