What are you not seeing?

What are you not seeing?

We brought home our new puppy last Sunday - ?the adorable Lola.

Lola has been happily rampaging around our ground floor and garden, distributing toys, leaves, cuddles and excitable scratches on us and our furniture. There’s so much to see and so many people to play with and she’s been having a great time exploring it all.

Today’s day 5 and suddenly she’s discovered the carpeted stairs leading up to our bedrooms on the 1st floor. Cue crazy escape attempts every 15 minutes as she tries to sneak up to the off-limits area. A babygate installed this morning should slow her down for now!

Lola’s discovery of this huge opportunity after 5 days of not noticing makes me wonder - how often do we focus only on the routine activities and things that are right in front of us and miss seeing opportunities that lead somewhere new?

Looking up and looking around for new possibilities and new opportunities is vital for long-term fulfilment and success.

So while Lola is stuck on the ground floor for some time to come, she’ll be reminding me to keep looking up and looking around.

What are you not seeing yet that could transform your future?

You always ask the best questions Rosie Yeo Agree we should never loose our inner child curosity at any age because it is not only cute like Lola…it makes us interesting people to hang out with and opportunities abound.
