What are you re-reading?

Dallas Willard was once asked what books he recommended, and he responded, "I suggest you read a few, very deeply."
I regularly get asked for book recommendations, oftentimes by those looking for the latest shortcut or key insight which may give them an edge.
I love to read and often find myself working through several books at a time depending on the mood I'm in.
Reflecting on Dallas' quote , I paused the other day and looked at the shelf next to my desk. For context, this is where I keep those books I find myself regularly referring to over and over again.
Some of these have been with me for well over a decade and some are much newer. Regardless, if the house caught on fire and I had to load my backpack with books, I would grab this stack and head out the door because I keep re-reading these few selections.
"Turn the Shipt Around!" written by L. David Marquet. An excellent read on enabling the leader-leader model within your organization.
"Master the Matrix: 7 Essentials for getting things done in complex organization" written by Susan Finerty. If you find yourself in the deep end in a matrix organization, start here.
"Dare to Lead" written by Brene' Brown. Being vulnerable is perhaps the key to authentic leadership and Brene' unpacks why. If you have this one down, you must live on an island by yourself.
"Leading from your Best Self" written by Rob Salafia. I don't know about you, but 99% of the things I perceive are obstacles are in my head, especially when it has to do with showing up the way I want to around others. This book unpacks Executive Presence along with many other foundational topics in very practical ways.
"Never Split the Difference" written by Chris Voss. We negotiate way more than we think we do and this book has a delightful mix of engrossing stories mixed with practical approaches that work and get better over time as you practice them.
"Becoming a King" written by Morgan Snyder. Think of this book more of a map with tons of questions to help you with orientation for life and consider it a link to the ancient paths referenced in Jeremiah 6:16.
"The Power of Praying Husband" written by Stormie Omartian. Given to me by a friend as a wedding gift, not a week goes by where I don't find value in praying one or more of these prayers over my wife.
"Holy Bible, English Standard Version" All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
