Top of the weekend my friends! Is it what you need or what you want? Today's topic is about "Love"! Let's see if this Uptown boy gonna give it to ya!

Man can not live by bread alone. Neither can women! Sometimes that toast needs some butter and honey on it!! Which is why today our focus is on "all the things we love". This note is especially for those of us who didn't get loved back. Remember how that made you feel? Please come just a little bit closer. Is it what you need or what you want?!

Yep! All we need is love! It's still a many splendored thing. Some of you can still testify about that when you look at each other now!. It's been awhile but you still got it! Please tell them this weekend. How much. We don't say it nearly enough.

For decades through all the ups an downs, the kids, health challenges, money issues you've made it. Keeping it real, it's still sometimes day to day life. Yet there's no happy end to it. Love is eternal even more so now. By the way, if the one you love lives in eternity!!! Praise GOD that Love never ends. Amen.

It's true, love makes the world go around. Nevertheless when the love of money becomes your priority. Your heart can be easily broken. For a small piece of paper it carries a lot of weight. It can buy you the best doctors but not good health!We often talk a lot about Love at first sight. I recently read and interest quote that says "It's better to have loved and lost than to do 40 pounds of laundry a week". You know?

When Artisan Salvador Dali was quoted on this subject. He said "Physiological expenditure is a superficial way of self expression. People who incline towards physical love accomplish nothing at all." Needless to say, it comes and goes. Pardon the pun. As the song from Rose Royce put it "Love don't live here anymore"! What do you do now? Pray and then study!!It's true Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus!

One of the most entertaining points in Dr John Gray's best seller is Men believe that we offer solutions to the problems women bring up in conversation. We have the mental technology we can explain why. Answer Men if you will. Yet women are. not necessarily interested in you solving those problems but talking about them. Notice how we respond to stress in distinctly different ways. Understandable? Is it what you need or what you want? Be careful how you respond!

Love doesn't consist in gazing at each other but looking outward together in the same direction. One might say that's getting into the "Love Zone" you don't have to be alone. Together we can live and learn. We have a tendency to keep the things we need and let go of the things we don't want. Change is a fact of life especially when we get older remember. Living the lyrics of Patti Labelle "Love need and want you baby"! and a splash of Mary J Blige Love no limit! May I add this addendum both ladies are single now. Songs in the key of life huh?

Love doesn't make the world go around. Love is what makes the ride worthwhile! Actually to be honest mentally most of us have given love a stereotype. All men are not dogs and all women are not gold diggers. Patience really is a virtue and good things really do come to those who know how to wait! Is it what you need or what you want?
