I completed my first successful long run in six weeks a few days ago!

As many of you know, I have been recovering from a hamstring injury, which was so difficult to navigate both physically and emotionally. But, in the end, it taught me a lot about the power of cross-training and patience. I'm back at it just in time, as the United Airline NYC Half Marathon is this weekend!

It reminded me that progress may not always be linear, but consistent effort and adaptability always lead to long-term success and recovery.

• X Competes with YoutubeThe creator economy is showing no signs of slowing down, as X recently announced that long-form videos will soon be available to stream on smart TVs. The reason I share this now is because I believe all creators will need to continue to be comfortable on camera as many of these platforms will continue to become video-first. This combined with services such as messaging to peer-to-peer payments will allow creators to connect more directly with fans and create diverse income streams with their niche audiences.
• Midjourney Tests New FeatureOne of the difficulties of currently using generative AI is the difficulty of creating consistency across characters. Luckily, Midjourney has come up with a solution and is currently testing a highly requested “consistent characters” feature that will enable users to create the same character across multiple images and styles. Stay tuned to how this creates a whole new world of efficiency in the generative AI landscape.
