They shared with with us strategies on how to be able to ask better questions and understand the consequences of cyber risk decisions.

Our next Forum and thinktank that I believe will be relevant for you is the Nexttech Transformation Forum on 18 August with Claudia Perry-Beltrame
She will be talking TRANSFORMATION - how to assess it so it delivers expected outcomes
Research shows that less than 20% of transformations meet or exceed their goals. Change research indicates that only 50% of ICT change is successful and culture transformation has a success rate of 19%.
The result is that the business becomes exhausted.?
Board of directors hear about escalating costs and a diminishing return on investment. Executives lose their job for non-performance. Staff begin to resist change because it does not work anyway. And talented people leave in the hope to find more settled work. The transformation is derailing fast.
These are some of the questions we will look at during the presentation and discuss during the breakout room Think Tank.
At the conclusion of the event, you will understand:
· The essential requirements to deliver a transformation into a company
· Why you must plan a transformation holistically to avoid derailment
· How culture influences a transformation
· How to assess and measure culture for transformation
领英推荐
· The blind spots of current assessments tools
You will leave this event with the practical knowledge to assess your transformation during the planning phase, or to pause it to take stock of the different components that may derail it.
Claudia is one of Australi's leading authorities on Transformation. having worked in seven industries working with boards, executives, middle managers, and customer facing staff.
You & The BBG ThinkTank
Claudia's?"knowledge share" will be followed by the?#bbgthinktank, where you will breakout into a group of 5-7 delegates and explore how you can implement the learnings from her insights into your organisation.

2 年A great article fom KPMG Australia and Tanya Gilerman - a brief summary If you are the responsible entity for a critical infrastructure asset and engage a third party to provide data storage or processing services in relation to your business critical data, you need to take reasonable steps to inform your provider that they are providing services relating to business critical data of a critical infrastructure asset.? Civil penalties can be applied for not meeting this requirement. You need to get your Board on board with prioritising and integrating cyber security. While cyber is a key driver, meeting your obligations means thinking about security and resilience from an interconnected end to end perspective.? Personnel, physical, cyber and supply chain security all need to play together, not in silos.
