What you make of life.

Life is what you make it, or so they say. I think life is more how you see it. If our experiences make up our reality, that would mean we are extremely connected to the stories that make up our lives. How much control do you have over your experiences? For sure we have some control, but in actuality it's very little. You can plan a picnic, but can you predict the weather? Did I make the decision to loose my loved one, or get laid off? Of course not, but those twists and turns in the road of life help to guide us to our ultimate destiny once we except the experience and appreciate (add value to) it's impact in our lives.

It's time to live our dreams. When we sleep most people believe we are in a passive state. What's interesting is that's how we live our waking lives as well, in a passive state. It seems almost as if we take what we can and just get through the day so that we can forget it with our dreams and repeat the entire process again the next day. The core issue lies in the fact that if you don't remember your past your bound to repeat it. In researching dreams I found that they have strong connections to our daily experiences, even down to what we eat. Add to that the fact that we aren't satisfied with waking life and you see why nightmares are so common.

We can turn it all around, once we commit to understanding the signs and guidance of our emotions and experiences in this world. We each have passion, and that is a guiding force which can't be denied. If repressed you become a robot, or a slave. Turning our passion into our ambition is key. It's the difference between loving plants and becoming a horticulturalist. Our experiences in life show us our passion based on what we are drawn to. However, when we face reality most don't pursue based on limiting beliefs.

It's time to recognize those limiting beliefs and take command of your life. Even if the belief is fact. It represents an obstacle which you recognize. If you saw a hole in the ground are you still going to fall into it? Work through the perceived problems and come into yourself. Having a fulfilling life is seeing the goal and running toward it, not running in circles because the finish line is too far. See more then where you are, remember where you're going.
