What you learn in SAP GRC 10.0 MSMP Configuration Class

In SAP GRC 10.0 the workflow configuration is the toughest part of the configuration, but it is easy to master if you understand the basic concepts.  We will cover all the touch points of the configuration in detail so you can trouble shoot or construct a work flow with ease. We will go over in-depth into concepts on initiator, agents, sod routing rules, approvers, BRF+ custom rules.

  1. Activation of BC Sets required which will give you the SAP pre delivered workflow, agents initiators etc
  2. We will look at the initiators which will trigger the particular work flow. For example, when the Emergency access is used which workflow will get initiated and when the user lock request is created which request type will be invoked.
  3. We will look at the configuration settings which will enable or disable the workflow process for the particular action. For example, do you want to trigger a workflow for the mitigation control process or risk change process
  4. We will understand the initiator link in the different process id. The initiator is the import link which drives the workflow process
  5. We will create a simple work flow with stages to route the request. You will learn how to look logs and understand the stage where the

  9. How to route the request I call it jump the request to a specific path based on some condition like request type, role or function
  10. Jump the request based on SOD in that particular stage and identify the configuration settings in the stage which are mandatory
  11. Work with BRF+ initiators, agents and routing rules and how to we incorporate them into the workflow based on the client’s needs
  12. Admin function which can be used to push the request when there is a problem with the request
