I have got to say it's very hard to work on your mindset during these COVID times, But I think I have found a Key to this challenge!
For those who know me, I am a Personal Development Junkie - constantly learning from the Guru's, Mentors out there!
Now since some time, I have shifted from the Learning mode to the Implementation Mode and Here are few things that have really helped me to keep my mind in Balance, Fired up and On Focus!
You must (or shall I say should) first after you get up work on your mind and body to get a grip on the day.
As they say, A Successful day turns into a successful Week, then Months, Then Years, Then Decades ultimately resulting in a successful life!
Easier said than done, But It's possible!
Here are some things which I do impact the way I perform!
- After you get up, Don't look at your Whatsapp, Mobile, Email etc.
- Freshen Up and do something Physical (Exercise). I know we are trapped at home, But some Puch Ups, Stretching, Sit-ups, to Break the sweat. Remember Physical exertion gives warms you up like anything also firing up your brain! Don't forget to Warm Up Before you do this, especially if you are doing it after a long time!
- Do a Gratitude activity, Thinking about all the things you have, Achieved. This is a very activity, important cause it drives out the possibility of fear in your mind. Your Brain cannot be fearful and thankful at the same time.
- Meditate for at least 5-10 mins in a day. Meditation helps to soothe your brain. Think of Fresh, Cozy relaxing thoughts with your eyes closed. The more good you get at meditation the more depth you will master while you work. it's directly proportionate.
- Rewire Your Brain For Success - Listen to 'The Strangest Secret In The World - By Earl Nightingale each day. This 30 mins audio, when listened to each day, will Rewire your brain and prime it up for achievement.
- Write your Goals down each day and revisit them when you sleep.
- Don't watch News - Literally, Abandon them. Especially the Debate model - It sucks your energy, is as negative as it gets!
Some of them might seem strange at first, but Trust me!
I have been doing this for a long time now & It works!
The Secret of successful people is their Daily Habits, Get Control Of your Day, you will get control over your Life!
