I've often thought the Silicon Valley is much like Las Vegas. Four companies I believe qualify as BIG winners are Palo Alto Networks with a current Market Cap of $18 Billion, WorkDay with a current Market Cap of $26 Billion, ServiceNow with a current Market Cap of $31 Billion and the granddaddy of them all, Salesforce.com, at a whopping current Market Cap of $102 Billion. These companies were all able to disrupt and win massive Total Addressable Markets (TAM) with superior Platforms that solved old hard problems in a new and innovative way. What's fascinating is only 5 short years ago, Palo Alto's stock price was $48 compared to $195 today. WorkDay's stock price was $72 compared to $123 today. ServiceNow's stock price was $46 compared to $179 today. And Salesforce.com's stock price was $49 compared to $137 today. Knowing all of this today, what if you had a Time Machine and could go back just 5 short years and join one of these hyper growth companies?
