Independent Review and Opinion upon Invitation: I had the opportunity to review the email benchmark report shared by #Netcore by my good friend @Raghav. As a marketer, I can first hand relate to the experience of managing diverse email campaigns and teams over the years. Its very evident how hard it is to consistently ensure your emails are delivered with the precision that is required. While we are a text, WhatsApp, and a call away from each other, the most preferred business communication mechanism for brands to be heard, showcased, experienced, and for marketers to enable selling is still the e-mail.
E-mail is still the big daddy of business messaging.
This study confirms the fact that Almost 77% of the users prefer email as the channel to reach out to them.
I had earlier built (painstakingly and manually using a spreadsheet and a set of statistical principles from my mathematical background) a predictive engine for email campaign effectiveness by analyzing 25,00,000 emails that were sent by my demand generation and campaign teams over 12 months and it gave me interesting insights and increased my success rate.
Now just imagine if I had an access to a report like this which has analysed 50 Billion emails and 45 metrics– I would have been truly empowered. I wish this report was with me already. That’s how I will summarise #Netcore’s diligence and thought leadership in sharing this report. I would call this the Encolypedia of email Marketing and email deliverability.
Go grab a copy of this and make this an almanac on your digital marketing shelf. What I loved in this report apart from the gigantic nature of data being analyzed, the concept of Send time optimization (STO) which Netcore’s AI engine “Raman” seems to have implemented and it allows the platform to truly learn from past behavior of engagement to determine the best time to target a campaign for a certain user. I wish this is something I can leverage immediately. Am totally impressed with this report and its insights. I would love to have this run by teams and have them walk away with truly rich insights. Am an email away from sending this to my teams.. Are you?
