What are you grateful for right now?

What are you grateful for right now?

Happy Tuesday! :)

How are you?

I was supposed to send my weekly email newsletter yesterday, Monday.

But for some reason, I was feeling a little sad and unproductive yesterday and I didn't know why.

At 5:00pm, I texted three of my closest girl friends and I told them about how I felt and I asked them to pray for me.

They replied and said,

"Hugs, Sha! I'll pray for you!"

"Why don't you go for a walk, or do some workout?"

"Or eat chocolate."

I smiled at their replies. I was touched I cried a little. I felt so much gratitude in my heart that I have friends I can be vulnerable with. I am grateful I have friends who were my safe space and who didn't judge me and say, "Sha, you're supposed to feel good all the time!"

Anyway, last night, I felt so much better after taking 10,000 steps and after talking to an old, wise priest.

Speaking of gratitude... This post is about being grateful for everything.

Yes, even our uncomfortable emotions. They teach us something.

It's easy to be grateful when things are going well.

But how about when you're not getting what you're praying for... yet?

It's easy to be grateful when you feel happy.

But how about when you're feeling a little sad?

It's easy to be grateful when your crush asked you out on a date.

But how about when he didn't? Lol.

While talking to the old, wise priest yesterday, I understood why I was feeling a little sad.

Valentine season gave me a nostalgic feeling.

I cried inside the confession box and the old priest just laughed at me.

His laughter gave me perspective and now, as I am typing this, I am laughing at myself.

I am grateful God allowed me to experience this.

In the near future, when I am happily married, I can also comfort single women who are praying to meet their future husbands.

Gratitude. How I love to speak about GRATITUDE. It's my signature keynote speech for companies and organizations. Gratitude makes you happy and healthy. Gratitude gives you a better perspective. Gratitude makes you creative, and so on.

I love looking back at the year that was and recall all the things and moments I am grateful for.

I shared my gratitude list for 2019 in my blog. You can check it here.

I am so grateful for you!

You are the reason why I wrote this email.

I hope this email somehow inspired you. :)

I wish you love, joy, and peace today and everyday.

Cheers,

Sha

P.P.S. I have two surprises for you on Valentine's Day :)

Hint: I want to serenade you with a song. Okay, it's no longer a surprise. Haha! The surprise will be...HOW, right? :)

The other surprise is a secret for now. I'll drop by your inbox on February 14 at exactly 11:00am Manila/Singapore time.

There's nothing for sale or anything. It's purely a gift from my heart to yours. ??What are
