In my experience as a transformation executive who have worked most life with change management it matters even more than ever that the companies’ values are lived out in practice and that the company has a purpose beyond just having a job to go to.
In any business I have worked in, either as a hired consultant or as a senior executive, I have focused on the importance of developing a culture of continuous learning and support, respect, and care for each other. We win and we fail and learn as a team. As a team we strive to make a difference and deliver exceptional results. Purpose driven companies attract the best minds, have the most passionate customers, achieve wild success, and change the world. When purpose and passion are combined, the impact is powerful not only for individuals, but also on the public they serve to help create a brighter future for everyone.
Any clients can feel it when you meet a seller who is purpose driven. Where there is a purpose, it creates trust, anyone would like to contribute something bigger than ourselves. Purpose makes one more trustworthy.
Purpose will inspire other
When other people sense someone is working passionately on something and is purpose-driven and motivated, they feel inspired to grow as well. People will be grateful for your inspiration and want to learn from you. They will admire your success and want to achieve similar things. What could be better than inspiring someone to grow as well? Working purpose-driven is so much more than a healthy work mindset, it is a game-changer as well for those you will inspire.
