???How To Create Call-To-Actions That Actually Convert?

Strategic copywriting is essential for any business. While persuasive writing helps potential clients understand your product or service benefits, CTAs (Calls-to-Action) drive users to action. Without a clear direction, leads can drop out of a sales funnel leaving your persuasive messaging ineffective.?

CTAs guide users with simple instructions on the next steps. These are useful in each channel you promote your business: blog or website, social media captions, email marketing, in-person events, etc.?

The end goal is for users to complete that desired action, and often a successful CTA means a high CTR rate and a high conversion rate. This is why we curated a complete head-to-toe guide on CTAs with some MUST-KNOW tips to use every time. To find out more, click the button!?

Instagram Tests Making the Messaging Icon the Main Focus

The last couple of videos posted by the company leader, Adam Mosseri , were very clear: messaging is now a big indicator for the platform.?

How much a post gets shared with friends through messages plays a big role in its chances of going viral and having a wider reach.

Now, the app’s UI matches that strategy, placing the button to share by DM in a very prominent location.

LinkedIn Rolls Out Puzzles

In a bid to become a daily digital pit stop, Microsoft’s $26B acquisition is now replicating one of the most popular and lucrative New York Times sections to its crowd of professionals and job seekers.

“It’s about building this daily habit,” Daniel Roth told the Financial Times. “Once you’re on LinkedIn, it’s time to share your knowledge, get knowledge, get information and get content.”

How is this going to impact your work as a social media professional?

First, big tech is throwing you another potential time waster that you need to avoid.

And second, expect the platform’s conversations to lean more toward this new feature. New inside jokes, new words, new memes, and new trends are going to appear around it. And you need to be ready to react to them.

X Is Testing an Option to Block Links in Your Post Replies

X really doesn’t want its users to click on referral links and leave its site, which is why it’s already downgraded the reach of posts with links, changed the way that link previews are displayed in the stream, and added native long-form posting options as a replacement.

And now, it’s testing out another way to disincentivize links, though this one has more specific value for creators.

5 New Features are Rolling out on YouTube Shorts?

YouTube is tapping into their creative side for their Shorts option. They have recently announced that there will be some new features rolling out that will help users personalize their shorts on YouTube.?

On YouTube Shorts, you will soon be able to:?

“I got one question for you: what’s your take?”

You’ve probably caught a clip or two. Subway Takes is everywhere. It’s that show where the host chats with New York City subway riders, capturing their stories and hot takes.

Each video racks up hundreds of thousands of views. Even some celebrities like Olivia Wilde and Charlie xcx have made appearances.

So why am I going on about this show?

Because it contains plenty of lessons and any social media professional can learn from its success and implement them into their work without going on the street filming strangers.

1?? Authenticity matters: We can all spot fake content a mile away. Real moments, user-generated posts, and genuine testimonials beat polished, professional edits every time.

2?? Use unique settings: A guy interviewing random people in the subway? An artist performing at a tiny desk inside an office? You got me. Take an element and move it to an unconventional location and you have something that catches the eye and makes people stop scrolling.

3?? Diverse perspectives: The show’s takes range from wild exaggerations to deep truths. Featuring a mix of voices in your content widens your reach and resonates with more people.

4?? Consistency: This one’s huge. “Subway Takes” has over 150 episodes. Good content takes time. Nail your format, let your audience find you, and then let them get hooked.

That said, what’s your favorite video? Mine’s this one.

Okay, Metricooler, that is all for today. I’ll see you next Sunday!??

With love,?
