What Would You Sacrifice Time Or Money

What Would You Sacrifice Time Or Money

You either invest your time or you invest your money, right? And what I'm trying to go with this is that a lot of times we got business owners that will either will spend time trying to figure out a new skill in order for them to go ahead and figure out what's the best way to doing it. Or they end up hiring someone that knows what they're doing in order for them to help scale their business faster.

If you're gonna ask me, hey, what makes the most sense? It's just gonna depend on the resources that you have available to you because oftentimes we work with clients who tell us, hey Jayce we want to go ahead and hire you because we don't want to spend the tedious time, you know, filtering out candidates in order to find the top talent.

And then we've got other times where the pain is not that so significant. The client has the resources and we let them know if it makes sense. So why don't you go ahead and do it on your own? But often times right, we are stuck between the two. Either you invest your money or you invest your time and at the end of the day, there's no right or wrong.

It just depends on you on what makes the most sense for you as a business owner for us. We know we're good at placing top candidates. We know we could go ahead and find anything that has to do with sales marketing operations. But if it has to do with something outside of that, we're just gonna let me tell you like, hey, I think you know that there's probably other positions that we can potentially help you with, but those are not probably the ones that we can. So again, the lesson here for everybody who reads is to make sure either invest your time or you invest your money, it's either one or the other, right? Or you could do both.

But at the end of the day, if you have the resources to do it, go ahead and take care of it. And if you don't hire professionals that know what they're doing in order to help you scale, what tends to happen most of the time is that we end up working with clients who are either one or the other.

Now, here's the thing, if you have the resources available to you then go ahead and use those resources. But if you're gonna pick between you trying to figure out or you're trying to hire someone that knows how to do it, go with the one that makes the most sense. Sure you may pay more for going ahead and finding the right person, to help you fill that talent or you may have the time.

But most of the time as busy professionals as we are, we don't really have the time to be putting into a lot of labor time that would probably take us away from, you know, building the business. So a lot of times in business you either invest your time or you invest your money right? A lot of times I'm working with business professionals who on their end in the business majority of the time you either invest your time or you invest your money.

Most of the professionals and business owners that I'm currently working with, don't necessarily have the time to be going after and be able to find the top town. So that's why they go ahead and hire us to be able to do so. But a lot of times in some instances, right? Like I think a few days ago, right, we had a client of ours that literally said, hey, they have the resources to do this on their own.

And I always encourage if you do have the resources to do this on your own, might as well keep doing it on your own until the point that you don't. But if you on your end need some help finding top talent, whether it's in sales, marketing, or operations, we can help you.

So again, as business owners out there, if you again have the resources and you have the leverage and the network to go ahead and do things on your own, go ahead and do that, go ahead and you know, put the right people in place to do so. But if you don't and you're looking for experts that can help you find the right people that you're looking for.

Well, that's where companies like myself come in place to go ahead and do so. So again, this right here, it's really all the matter of between time and money and at this point is you gotta ask yourself, is your time worth what you're trying to accomplish there.

Does it make sense as an owner or as a business professional to be in that arena, filtering that out or can your time be better suited elsewhere? And if it can be a great look at the time that you're gonna be spending versus the amount of outcome you're gonna get out of it because eventually, you gotta ask yourself, does it make sense for you to do it or have somebody else do it for you?

And that's where a lot of times we need to go ahead and take a step back and really analyze what are all the options on the table. So again, for anybody that's reading, if you found value out of this and you definitely enjoyed it, go ahead and comment and share with those in your network so they can get the same as well.

Great article. Lots of SMB's challenged to find the balance between resources and performance, specifically sales performance.
