I have always been in love with the process of writing stories, as most of you know. But recently, thanks to the Suno app, I now can create music that fits my stories. So I have been in the process of taking some of my stories and turning them into songs. I have had SO MUCH fun creating the music behind the story. Music just adds so much emotion. Long story short, I created my first album (Storylines: Ballads of humor and heart) and launched it online, and now I am an official songwriter!
But there's more.
There is one song on the album?Backyard World?that is super special to me because it's my story. The story of a little girl who didn't fit the world she danced in. A story of hiding my light and then finding it again. A story of coming back out and living life on my terms. It is a story of resilience. A story of hope. And I believe it is an anthem for all the backyard girls out there who walked away from dreams and want to come find them again. Or just a reminder that we are brave. The chorus asks "What would you do if you were brave?" which triggers something deep inside of us. Something good and meaningful.?

Because this song is special, I wanted to do something special with it. Because it empowers women, I have a deep desire to get it out to as many women as possible - to spread hope and comfort and courage.
