What would you do differently if you could do it all over again?

We don't usually get re-do's in life. However, that doesn't stop us from imagining and wishing we did. Today, I invite you to go there and daydream. But then-- you guessed it!-- I'm going to invite you to do something about it.
I work at a college. It's common to ask alumni questions like, "What do you wish you knew when you were a student?" or "What would you have done differently given what you know now?" While these questions offer great insights, they can inadvertently spark regret and remorse.
I'm obviously all about reflection, but not if it leaves people feeling bad. So, today I invite you to think backwards and forwards.
The truth is that we can't rewind life. However, we don't always need to rewind to achieve the change we want. We might realize there's still plenty of time to take our own advice and use it to build the future we desire.
Self-reflection:
What did you choose to focus on?
Why is this important to you?
What would you do differently if you could do it all over again?
How will you apply this knowledge to help you accomplish your future goals?
A friend and I were having a version of this conversation a few weeks ago, but we didn't have your thoughtful self-reflection questions. Thanks, Maura!
