In this newsletter, I will offer one leadership tip, one public speaking tip, and one adventure.

A member shared in my Mastermind call that her boss is peppering her with questions about headcount/budget/staffing. She senses that the landscape at her job is shifting with the looming recession, but he isn't being transparent about the changes.

How does she get more transparency?

As a group, we crowdsourced some questions she could ask her boss:

• 'Where' she will have this conversation is very important. In my interview with Coach Rebecca Maxwell, she shares why location is important for difficult conversations.
• Ask: What is the problem we are solving for?
• Ask: What is the context of this ask?
• Ask: How can I help solve the problem?
• Ask questions that help make the boss the hero at the end of this matter.

"What would 10X of your life look like?"

I've given up alcohol.

I tried 2X for a long time. 2 drinks each night. Friday and Saturday. But 2X was just staying in a holding pattern. It was taking me longer and longer to recover from a few glasses of wine on the weekend.

I recognized that 10X would require a drastic change. So--- I'm giving up alcohol.

In the few weeks I have done this, I was astonished with the clarity that came with it. I have more compassion for people. I have access to more creative ideas. I am acutely aware of people's reactions to things.

My public speaking tip of the week, start by asking yourself "What is this event really about?"

Adventure Tip: Let me build a VIP Day for you in Paris.        

One of my Mastermind members has always wanted to go to Paris with her two daughters. She's also suffering from major burnout.

I suggested she allow me to create a VIP Day for her.

It's 3 days, 2 nights completely built around her. Spa. Private dinners. Private salon at Chanel in Paris. (Nanny for the girls if she wants). It's 24 hours uninterrupted time to work on HER.?

I've been going to Paris since I was in high school. Matt (my partner) works for a French company. I've been hosting events for my women's platform there for years. I can create a beautiful experience for you, including a jaunt to the Loire Valley by TGV.
