What? Why? But what if?

Keep asking questions.
Inspiration, that elusive muse of creative endeavors, is an omnipresent entity. It's all around us, in the most mundane of things and in the grandest of experiences. I've written about this many times before, but sometimes we need reminders - I know I do.
We need to remember to look at the world with a sense of curiosity and wonderment, much like children do.
As I wrapped up my last forest school volunteering session at our local school for the year, a profound realization dawned upon me - if you want to learn how to do new things, if you want to break free from the monotony of your current routine, or just break the way you do things today for a new tomorrow, engage in a conversation with our next generation. The children.
Children have this unique ability to ask questions in the most peculiar ways. They have an uncanny knack for understanding how things work and are always eager to figure things out independently. The rigid frameworks of societal norms and conventions do not yet confine their minds. They're malleable, open to ideas, and fertile grounds for creativity.
So, when you're searching for inspiration to do something differently, be like a child. Embrace their spirit of relentless inquiry. Children have a way of breaking things down, of asking repetitive questions until they understand the concept at its core. They don't shy away from failure; instead, they perceive it as a stepping stone toward success. They try and try and try again, undeterred by setbacks.

Drawing inspiration from children doesn't imply adopting a naive perspective or acting immaturely. Instead, it's about embracing a mindset that isn't afraid to question, explore, and fail. It's about viewing the world through a lens of endless possibilities rather than rigid limitations.
Inspiration is indeed all around us. It's in the laughter of children, in their innocent questions, and in their relentless pursuit of knowledge. To tap into this wellspring of inspiration, all we need to do is open our minds, unleash our curiosity, and never stop asking questions.
Remember, every great innovation started with a question. Every groundbreaking idea was once just a curious thought.
So, my for musings today, let's take a leaf out of a child's book and start looking at the world with a renewed sense of wonder.
Who knows, the next big event idea might just be a question away.
