What is "werewolf" productivity?
One day it hit me.
Calendars feel like entrapment.
We have to use them for everything.
What if we tried something more natural when it comes to tracking our goals?
Instead of looking at my calendar, I can now look up at the sky.
Here's how it works.
Every new moon, I decide on "the one thing".
What's the one thing I can guarantee will get done?
If I achieve nothing else, what can I successfully commit to that will make me feel accomplished?
Half moon check in.
How am I doing?
Should I change course?
Here's an example:
You can follow the Native American tradition of naming each of the 12 moons.
Full Wolf Moon :: Update my LinkedIn profile
Full Snow Moon :: Publish 3 articles
Full Worm Moon :: Assemble a two week emergency survival kit
Full Pink Moon :: Master 3 songs on guitar
Full Flower Moon :: Sign up for an improv class
Full Strawberry Moon :: Get pre-approved to buy a house
And so on...
Give it a shot:
Hang an attractive calendar like this to the wall.
Look up each night and appreciate the beauty of gravity in orbit.
Tell me how it goes!

3 年Jacob Caggiano I really like this! Too easy to keep updating "due dates" on the task list. I happen to sky watch, so an easy practice to try. Thanks!
