What a week that was!

What a week that was!

What a week that was!

I had to get something down – no way can I sum up the first week of 2021 in 140 characters or get across The Good, The Bad and The Ugly in an impactful social media post!

Not that I want to write War and Peace about this week for those of you who speak to me you know I’d much rather chat your ear off than write about it! However, so much water has flowed under the proverbial Coyne Towers bridge this week particularly opportunities to highlight, I thought a quick blog post would kill the birds with stones etc etc.

Ok apart from the snow days and sub zero temperatures Monday was a fantastic start to 2021 at Coyne Towers!

New opportunities from brilliant employability and Skills providers racked up!

·        X2 Leadership & Management Coach positions Home Based £35k

·        X1 Coaching & Mentor Skills coach required Home Based £32-35k

·        1 x BDM – South England based £35-40k

·        X2 Employment advisor roles – North West £23-28k

That on top of an already busy week of interviews – and some fantastic meetings lined up (over Teams/Zoom of course) to discuss recruitment plans for 2021!

Then Monday night happened – unlike March 2020 it hasn’t really stopped the recruitment cycle for a lot of our clients, on top of the list above we have taken on over 55 live vacancies this week they will be listed below so please do make sure if you are on the market you are speaking to us! We have some amazing live roles with really fantastic employers of choice. BUT we have been impacted, we were hoping to announce two further members to the Coyne Recruitment family this week and next, luckily, we will be still doing so when we can get back to the office in the coming weeks so watch this space. It was a blow as this should be a really exciting start to a new calendar year and new members of the team.

Then like many millions across the UK we have had to contend with the juggling of business running, recruitment and home schooling. I am glad to say after the first day on Wednesday where in my house alone we had a detention, an expulsion and a shouting match with something called Class Dojo, things settled down and I am now a whizz at Key stage 2 mathematics (Just) and some semblance of routine is taking shape.

The week is ending on a busy and positive note;-

Coyne Recruitment have had over 500 applications accepted for Kick start supporting 16-24 years olds back into work.

We have just agreed an exclusive partnership with a growing training provider to be their sole supplier of talent for 2021.

We will be announcing a new venture to the business before the end of the month and hopefully two others in quarter2.

The IEP Talent pool – a collaboration with the Institute of employment professionals, EMSI, S Knights Recruitment and Red 5 People has been officially launched and already had its first vacancies.

We have had 3 offers for some of our amazing candidates already this week - well done and congratulations to our employers who have nabbed 3 amazing talents to their business.

Lastly all our live roles we are resourcing for so please get in touch.
