What is Web 3.0 ?

Before jumping right in. We must understand it's basics and how Web 3 grew.

What is the world wide web or WWW ?

The web is more often confused with the term internet, but both are different. The internet is the connection of a network. And the web is the application of the internet.

What is Web 1.0 ?

Web 1.0 was the start of the internet. Web 1 was more like read-only content. Users used to access the internet just to seek information from web pages. And these web pages were simple and static instead of dynamic. During web 1.0, websites were not interactive, and neither there was any scope for user interference or user experience. Web 1.0 had few people who accessed the internet and visited the website.

What is Web 2.0 ?

The features we use from the web and the internet in the present scenario are under Web 2.0. Web 2.0 has eased a lot for common users and helped businesses generate more revenue and target potential customers through advertisements.

What is Web 3.0 ?

Web 3 is the new and updated version of the internet or web. where you can see a great revolution in technology and its application. Web 3 is in hype these days because there is a lot of imagination on the usage and applications of Web 3. People are going crazy and applications.

Technically, web 3 is the idea of a new generation. Or we can define it as a revolution of internet technology that works on decentralized blockchain technology.?

Web 1---> Read-only web.

Web 2---> Read-write web.

Web 3 ---> Read-write-own web.

In short, Web 3 allows the content creators or the users to own and control of their data and privacy in their hands instead of recording into the servers of other companies.
