What are the wealthy hiding?

What are the wealthy hiding?

I grew up in Lake Charles Louisiana, a refinery town, and there weren’t many Lambos around. I never saw how rich people actually lived. I never saw real luxury. I grew up on saving pennies, where the whole concept in life was to save, save, save because we lived in fear of not having enough.

My mom gave me the impression that rich people were bad. The message was that being rich was out of reach and that it wouldn’t make me happy anyway.

How were you programmed to think about rich people? Were you programmed from childhood to think about exotic cars, mansions, private aviation, and riches in a negative light?

My whole life I’ve been intrigued by why rich people don’t show you behind the scenes. Now I’m beginning to find out it's because people start cracking on you saying that I’m just showing off. They see my car and they’ll say I could have given that money to charity. There are so many judgments made because of the money I have earned. This is why the wealthy don't show you how they are living.

Society tells you to act humble, don't boast, don't be proud... and then they tell people becoming rich is a fantasy. It's sick.

This is not a new thing, kings and queens had their little tight court and the common people didn’t get to see what was going on behind the golden gates. I want to change this.

I’m not showing you my Rolls Royce or my plane to show off, I’m 59 years old and I’m done trying to impress people. I want you to see what it’s like to be rich and to inspire you. Nobody else does this. Whether you live in Africa or the U.S., Venezuela or Venice Beach, I want to help you. There are broke people in all of those places, but there are hopeful people in all of those places too.

My mission is not political, it’s to help people see what is possible.

Here are 3 questions to ask yourself:

1. How much money is available on this planet?

2. What are rich people doing to get it?

3. What do the rich people have in common?

I'd love to see in the comments what you were taught about money and rich people as you were growing up. I learned at 10 years old that the amount of money to “just be grateful” was not enough.

If you want to do something about your financial position, if you are in the middle-class purgatory—just enough to be grateful but never enough to do anything—then get my Millionaire Booklet today, it’s free. The truth is you don’t need to read 700 pages to be financially intelligent. This is a quick read and takes less than an hour to get through.

Be Great,

Hey, I want to get to know more Success-Minded people so hit the "follow" button at the top of the page. Also, I'd love to get your feedback on questions in the comments below.

I never thought rich was bad. I grew up lower middle income. In my 20s, I realized I could make changes to change my destiny. As I hustled people thought I was crazy. As we saved and lived below are means people thought we were crazy. Today we have all we need and want. Its not money that we craved, it was the larger array of choices it offered. I'm not a car person. I love my 2005 Honda Civic. But we love to travel and prefer great experiences over stuff. Be comfortable and confident in your choices.

Time is the NEW RICH...! I can make $50k a year but if I only worked 10hrs a week for it. I'm richer than the man who made $100k/yr and worked 80 hours a week for it!
