Being a business owner is tough! You have all the right intentions, you have everything organised, you’re proactive & driven. But time & energy are … scarce commodities!?
There’s always just "one more thing” that needs doing! One more call, one more meeting, one more piece of content.
Lunchtime?! What’s that? These days it’s a struggle to get 5 minutes to head to the drive-thru or pop to the local store for something convenient!
Something packaged, something processed, something that gives you a fleeting moment of stress relief before the all too familiar regret and sluggishness return later that afternoon…
But it’s not just the time “at work”... At night, you lie awake in bed, ideas spinning around your head until the early hours of the morning and then BAM! The alarm goes off (seemingly in the middle of the night)!
Your to-do list extends beyond the horizon and breakfast is just “whatever comes to hand” (if you remember to eat at all)!
You know this routine is unsustainable. Your partner & friends keep nagging you to do something during the week. But for you, it’s just “one more project”, “one more meeting”, “one more month” until you can claw back some of your personal time.
You daren’t look at the scales because they will tell the story your overstretched belt has been trying to tell you this entire time…
You think back to the last “health kick” you did. You got a trainer, a workout program, even a meal plan. Broccoli, rice, chicken, egg white omelet, hours of training, supplements you’ve never heard of, the lot!
That was the worst couple of months in your business. The whole “health thing” just took up SO MUCH time of your time! Sure you felt a bit better for it, but was the sacrifice really worth it?
You wish there was something simpler, something easier, an approach that accounted for your values & priorities, and busy schedule (no 6am workouts followed by an egg white omelette and 5 different pills)!

Consider this: is your business success a representation of who you are as an individual? Is your business successful because you are committed, focused and (most importantly) consistent? And did you struggle until you became that person?
Why is it that we try to take an alternative approach with our nutrition? We “try” and dip our toes into different methods, not fully committing to change. We look for a “short term fix” rather than resolving the real problems that lie underneath!
If you want to create long-term, sustainable changes to your health, then you need to change your habits & behaviors towards nutrition & movement. (Note “movement” & not “exercise”!)
That’s the key! There isn’t 1 type of food that’s been missing from your life that will change you overnight (despite all the marketing claims that there is…), there isn’t 1 type of exercise that you’ve been missing out on that will give you ripped abs in just 2 weeks.
There’s only being a little bit better in your nutrition and your movement, consistently and constantly striving for progress! It doesn’t have to be complicated and definitely shouldn’t be difficult! (if it is then will you really create lasting change?)
But there’s so much information out there, so many different messages pulling you all over the place, how do you know what’s right and what’s wrong?
