What We Think, Is What We Become
Control your mind, control your life.
Our thoughts go beyond simple mental processes. They serve as our compass and help to determine who we are. They influence how we perceive the world and the people around us.
The phrase "whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve" was coined by author Napoleon Hill. When it comes to aspiring to achievement, the mind is a potent tool.
The likelihood of our success increases if we have confidence in our abilities. We frequently fail, nevertheless, if we think we won't succeed. This doesn't suggest that we are prophetic creatures; it just means that we tend to believe the thoughts that go through our minds.
If you have a growth mentality, you'll think that there are opportunities all around you or that you can concentrate on developing yourself. As opposed to having a fixed mindset, which holds that there are few opportunities available and that you cannot modify your ability.
"The mind is everything," the Buddha stated. You become what you think about. This assertion is accurate. You can direct your life's path if you have mental control.
Your thoughts have the power to either enslave you or set you free. Your life's quality will depend on the option you select.
There is no doubt that our thoughts shape the world we live in, despite the fact that this may sound like some conceive, believe, attain, crap.
I've already talked about how our internal dialogue influences our life, and the same is true of our ideas. How we live is influenced by our thoughts.
This has long been understood. Seneca, a Roman Stoic philosopher, was aware of this 2000 years ago.
"Everything depends on how one thinks... A guy is as miserable as he has led himself to believe.

I can relate to this quote. I had the first of several panic episodes back in June 2017. I was clueless and mistakenly believed I was experiencing a heart attack.
Even after visiting the hospital and learning that it was simply a panic attack, my mind continued to mislead me. My mind would go into overdrive and my worry would rise at the smallest ache in my body.
I convinced myself that I had a slew of problems. Instead of asking myself self-reflection questions and critiquing how I was feeling, almost every day I thought there was something wrong with me. Whether it was a heart problem, a brain tumour, or cancer, I kept convincing myself that something was wrong with me.
All of the evidence pointed to the contrary, but I couldn't help myself. My thoughts kept returning to my body and whether there was anything wrong with it.
Your mind is an extremely powerful tool. It can be both your best friend and your worst enemy. What we think becomes who we are. My thoughts made me a hypochondriac and anxious person. Only by taking a step back and seeking help was I able to put myself on the right track.
Even if you don't have any mental health issues, your mind can still play tricks on you. You set yourself up for failure if you believe you can't do something. You are doubting your ability to succeed before you even begin; this is a recipe for disaster.
Our thoughts are unique to us. We have the power to choose how we feel and how we live our lives. That is why our thoughts are so important; they govern nearly every aspect of our lives.
If you want to alter your thinking and improve your quality of life. You must take action. Nobody else lives with your thoughts except you. Who will take action if you don't?

2 年Agree. Good thing is that we have the power to change our thoughts and attitudes to become and do what we want to. It can be done through intention, learning and guidance of a guru ??
