Like many people today, I have had many careers before landing in the profession of sales. yet I always sought to be of service. I love the interaction with my clients. Making friends and connections. Providing a need and being a problem solver.
I found in my field today, a greater ability to assist my clients than ever. I also have learned (painfully) how to decipher companies that I want to work for and with, from those that will blatantly lie to you in order to use your talents and to take you away from competitors.
These days, many companies are doing just that.
I am posting this to aid those that are in need of a vision. I choice not only of careers, but of passion, integrity and focus.
Work for companies (or start your own) that will not only pay you, but will assist you in your growth. Those companies may be start-ups, they may be established.
However, don't be fooled by the "Glitz" and "Promises" of fast money and accolades.
This is a different market and employment landscape my friends.
YOU are the commodity.
Value your gifts and yourselves accordingly and with high regard.
