We’re still humming with excitement after the EA Masters event last month. A handful of our team got to mingle with professionals, listen to informative and thought-provoking speakers, and check out the latest innovations. We were able to chat with agents and show off some of Boomin’s best features.??

In this post-pandemic age, it was a joy to see people in the flesh. What’s more, we took away some valuable learnings about how things have changed in the market over the last few years. For example, according to the Home Moving Trends Survey, despite the digital age, people place high value on high-street agents and face-to-face meetings. But alongside that, consumers are still searching online for their next property, visiting a wide array of portals and agent websites when doing so.?

In this shift, mobile responsiveness continues to be a priority for property listing pages as consumers look for their next home via their smartphones. Quality images, local housing market insights and the ability to book viewings online were also rated as highly important on an agent’s website.??

It was no surprise to see that energy-efficient homes are hot on the market, with green features gaining in desirability in a bid to save on energy costs. In fact, energy efficiency is a top consideration for 2 in 3 of those considering a new home.??
