What is it that we haven’t figured out yet?

A great answer I received after posting the following video is that we simply haven’t figured out that we haven’t figured it out!

For those who are trying to hold on to their position of power and those who believe that they have no power at all, this is simply true.

If we think about it, to resolve a problem the very first thing that must happen is that the problem is acknowledged and the second thing is to take the responsibility for what we have created.

As far as the acknowledgment is concerned everyone seems to agree, however, when taking responsibility most people tend to put that aside as the problem is so big that no individual action can fix it and so the game of pointing the fingers to each other, to the world leaders, to the industries, to the multinationals, the greedy capitalists takes place as if they voted themselves, sold their products and services to poor defenseless human beings unable to make their own choices.

No doubt that, whether in a good way or a bad way, everyone is a contributor.

But how can a single individual resolve all that?

Again the answer is simple: no one alone can, but the entire humanity is made by single individuals and everyone can and must do its part! 

So, if it is this simple why are we not living coherently with nature and among ourselves?  

My answer is this: because to do, humans need to believe and need to share that belief. 

Once this happens we can make anything happen.

We need to believe that a change is possible, we need to believe that we are going to leave a better legacy for our children and we need to know that although it may not be visible in the news we are a lot and we are indeed taking back our power when we change our purchasing habits, when we decide who to vote, when stopping for a while and experiencing the sunset and feel that connection with the divine. 

We are changing the world with the awareness that there is no gain in feeding further this greedy illusion of constant growth achieved by consuming our land, polluting our water and air.

Awareness is key and this is growing everywhere!
