What are we doing? Can it be fixed?

1. What does your company do better than your competitors?

Several things:

a) We offer a complete solution from Seed all the way to Finished products, we provide all types of equipment for every single step of the process and we offer solutions that include design, business plans, investor decks, equipment, installation, training, and developing SOP that can include GMP certifications if needed.


b) We do not hire salespeople, by doing that, we have 100% confidence that the product or solution offered to the client is in fact the most efficient/reliable/cost effective for them.


c) We have presence in all the continents.


d) We help our clients decide which option is the best one for what they are trying to achieve. We have C02, Ethanol and Butane extractors, we need to know what the end goal is and we will explain the pros and cons for every system.


2. What do you feel is the biggest strength of our company right now?


We have a very good understanding of our industry and we are experts on what we do, when our clients come to us, after our first one hour call, we hear this all the time: "We have learned so much more from you than in the last 3-4 months talking to a bunch of pretenders, thank you guys!"


3. What goal do you have for the company?


We want to have at least 10 new complete FIBER Facilities in the next 2 years all over the world. And we want to lead on the Chromatography side to make it the standard for proper formulations on the CBD Oil industry.


4. Why did you start this company?


I like challenges and I like to do things, the right way, one of my Masters degree is in Operations Research, (Econometric Models) which is basically statistic to the fullest. When I saw the potential in this industry, I knew there will be a lot of challenges, when I met my partner Jeremy, it was clear Global Hemp Solutions (GHS) is the the only way to succeed.


5. Why Now?


Because, now is the time, I do not want to be a follower but a leader in everything I do, and with GHS we are setting the pace and establishing the path that the other companies should follow if they want to accomplish their goals. 


6. What have been the biggest challenges you’ve had to overcome?


Too many pretenders, too much ignorance and too much greed.

a) Pretenders are here to waste your time, asking you to prepare many quotes and plans and everything when in fact they do not have the resources to put those plans into action.


b) Ignorance is ok; but ignorance with initiative is dangerous, those are the ones that think they know what they want even though they have no clue where to begin.


c) Greed is good when is accompanied by a great plan that has been designed for professionals, but you add greed to the ignorance that the majority of new comers have, then failure is the only option.


7. What does winning look like in terms of revenue or return for an investor?


I cannot answer that for the other ones, for us, when we see our clients being successful that is a win. This industry was giving insanely ROI two years ago and those yields are coming down, but with the right plan and people, you can get a lot better results that the majority of the other industries and even though people say that this industry is in its infancy, I rather say, we have not even been born yet. We have a long road ahead of us. Hemp Fiber, Hemcrete, HempInsulation, HempPlastics, Hemp will change the world. Wait and see.


8. What is your Why that makes you cry?


a) The farmers that have lost too much money buying seeds from thieves that gave them almost zero results.


b) The labs that bought equipment that is not producing the results they were told.


c) The many end users buying products believing they contain CBD and tests have proven those products has no cannaboniods whatsoever.


d) The investors that lost money on a good idea but with a terrible plan or execution that failed for lack of knowledge.


e) The smart people out there that have no access to investors to put their great plans into action.


9. Who is your ideal customer?


Someone that wants to listen first, plan later and act upon proper knowledge and guidance from professionals in this industry.


10. What are your "distribution" plans?


Keeping on the educational videos on the different platforms that we are using now, such as Linkedin, Youtube, Facebook, our website, we truly believe that as long as we provide the best solutions out there we will continue getting new clients and helping our previous clients evolve to phase 2 or 3 on their plans.


11. What problem are you trying to solve?


Lack of Trust in the industry.


12. What stage of business are you in, MVP, unpaid pilot, paid pilot, sales, profitable?


Praise God, we are profitable beyond words.
