What we do & how we do it

12 years ago we purchased from scrap dealer this 60’s made reciprocating shaper - our earliest marine workshop investment. With our excitement of the new venture however and a small turning lathe we managed one of the very first emergency repairs !

We were awarded to replace Bow Thruster Kamewa RR on a container vessel @ Valencia repair berth. Thanks to all involved and Rolls Royce engineers team.

Broken rudder stock remove , fabricate new and install .. but afloat ! Shipowner approached us asking whether it was possible. We undertake the challenge - ship filled ballast tanks and we put additional 40mt big bags of sand on fore, enough pitching to work on rudder blade and horn pintle. Rest was hydraulic force , shore crane and a bit of our mechanical knowledge

Many of us may remember the devastating fire on car ferry Sorrento while en route from Palma de Mallorca to Valencia on 04/2015. “Most of the 156 passengers and crew, had left the ship by lifeboats” We are very proud to have successfully serviced ,several months before the accident , ZF Inverters in 2 Rescue boats of Sorrento. Also were in charge of securing & watertight deck platforms and other structures for her save towage to Turkey

A client from a major shipping company approached us to design , fabricate and install a foldable mast needed due to vessel bridge passage. Instead of initial suggested wire rope/ sheave system, we did bending with hydraulic pump and cylinder .One man operated - saving some time and efforts

When a bearing fails on engine room fan electric motor , it leads to all fan blades damage and in our case totally lost blade. We reweld with TIG and machine down to size all blades , cast fabricate missing one, dynamic ballance and ready for mounting

A hydraulic valve fails at CPP control , ship cannot use her both engines so stuck in port. With no spares ready available we overhauled it overnight , manufacturing and installing piston springs,washers ,actuating pins and fixing damaged block body. Vessel was happy to sail out early in the morning with system fully operational

When you need to manufacture , MP Test to LR approved and deliver onboard 58 pcs , M33, ME Foundation Bolts in 48 hours , would definitely need 4 lathes and Milling machine working around the clock !

Any urgent spares to be delivered - we have all necesarry to do it ontime

Removing broken stud in cylinder cover, due to fatigue or over-tightening, is a delicate job. A portable drill + our vast experience in machining however, enables us to do it in one hour.

By releasing Conrod bolts in standard overhaul of MAN BW L58/64 - M36 puller nut was damaged. With past & upcoming holidays , ordering from maker may cause important delays. Within 6 hours , our proficiency lathe operator machined equivalent units and vessel is back on track with maintenance.

Mobile phone is always online :-). Received emergency request from 6.5k TEU container vessel - Aux engines does not come in parallel. Here we had a problem with engine governors. During long hours , precise calibration was done on several units , having in mind possible wearing of the internal hydraulic system, so all 4 engines were connected in parallel , drawing shared 3k KW.

Emergency overnight removal of 2 MW Shaft Generator . Once in workshop revised and no good news for ship - bearing failure , resulting in both power and excitation stator/rotor damage. It will take some time for rewinding jobs.

No doubt one of biggest ever engines , but thats not scary for us at all

we always find solution , if not we invent it ,so engine safely running to next overhaul.
