What We Carried and What We Cared About Recently

The warm days are already behind us but we are so excited to be the main character in so many great activities. The achievements we had in the last weeks inspired us to keep up the good work and set a positive example. Take a look at our recap!

Alexandrina Borilova Impressed the Audience at Oracle CloudWorld

Our Digital Transformation Leader Alexandrina Borilova was invited to participate in the prestigious 甲骨文 CloudWorld event in Las Vegas. She joined the special speakers and shared more about our journey towards implementing Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) and CPQ. The event was a great success, gathering leading experts and very insightful presentations.

We’ve already taken the path towards full digitization as a part of our strategy. We truly believe that this is the trump card for every company that wants to be a leader in the transport and logistics sector. We can’t wait to see the upcoming solutions in this direction and we are ready to use the right tools to achieve even better services.

Transport and Logistics Events to Remember

The last weeks were intense but so worth it for some of our leading professionals. Vasil Marinov , Ivaylo Tsolov , Iva Ivanova and Venelin Maslarski had an active presence at the 9th International Expo ‘Logistics and Supply Chain’ in Athens. The event was a great meeting point and our experts managed to meet our current and new potential customers,?discussing opportunities for partnership.

In October we also had representatives at WConnecta Europe in Madrid ( Borislav Kirov , Dimitar Vukov , Hristo Kirov ) and at Anuga in Cologne ( Stefan Petrov , Panko Petrov , Milen Alipiev , Madalina Tiurbe , Daniela Tamba ). They enjoyed the atmosphere there very much and shared more about their experience with the rest of our team. We will share more details in the next issue.

We Celebrated Our 2000th Driver!

We have reached a milestone in the history of our company - our drivers are now 2000 (just 20% of all drivers we plan to hire by 2030). Who is the lucky one - driver #2000? His name is Ivan Georgiev Tsvetkov and he was personally welcomed in DISCORDIA's family by our CEO Mr. Hristo Hristov. Congratulations to Ivan!

One more time we supported the 11th Logistics Business Conference as a Gold Partner. Huge applause to the organizer - Bulgarian Transport Press / Българска Транспортна Преса and the 'Logistica' magazine for this outstanding event, which covered the hot topics in the sector with a focus on smart, green and sustainable transport and logistics.

Our Digital Transformation Leader Alexandrina Borilova was a special guest and a panelist. She outlined our achievements in implementing leading technological and innovative solutions and explained how we managed to establish our company as a tech leader in the sector.

Hristo Apostolov - our Director 'Road Forwarding' was under the spotlight in September with an insightful interview for ‘Logistica’ Magazine. Being a part of DISCORDIA Transport & Logistics for more than 15 years has taught him to be flexible, adaptive and very creative in his work.
