Our team spent three amazing days in Istanbul as an exhibitor at logitrans Fair - the largest logistics gathering in the Eurasia region. There we met our current customers and also new potential partners, who are interested in expanding their business with our support. We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who stopped by and had a talk with us. It was so great seeing our friends and having a live discussion. We are already looking forward to the exciting events that are coming up in 2024!?

DISCORDIA and Payhawk make the transport and logistics business more effective

At DISCORIDA we aim at technological advancement and implementing innovative tools for the improvement of our internal processes and the relationship with our customers. A great part of our administrative work is related to managing travel expenses. This has been a challenging task especially for our drivers. We decided to make this situation easier for them and we trusted Payhawk , using their software for corporate expense management. It allows automatic payment and accounting processes, so this aspect is already much easier for us. Our partnership with Payhawk was also in the spotlight during the sixth banking and finance forum “The Future of Money”, organized by Мениджър . Our financial director Cvetomir Uzunov, CFA, FRM and the CEO and co-founder of Payhawk Hristo Borisov attended the event and participated in a dynamic “fireside chat”. The main hot topic they commented on was the digital transformation regarding the finance department and its impact on the performance of all employees. Cvetomir Uzunov at "ESG and the transport sector - a challenge or an opportunity?"

Cvetomir Uzunov, CFA, FRM was a panelist during the "ESG and the transport sector - a challenge or an opportunity?" forum, organized by United Bulgarian Bank and "24 chasa" magazine. He talked about our eco policy, technological transformation and plans for sustainable growth. The event brought together carriers, experts from United Bulgarian Bank and senior representatives of the administration. This is the second expert discussion as a part of the project "24 chasa and United Bulgarian Bank for a sustainable future", which focused on challenges and opportunities that the transition to ESG poses for business, as well as the opportunities for financing green projects in the industry.?

Our colleagues from Ukraine attended the Logistics Forum in the country, which provided great opportunities for effective networking and creating new partnerships. Ihor Kvasha , Head of the Railway transportation department, and Iryna Demchuk, Senior manager of the transport department, met some of our clients there and other experts from the logistics business as well. They had the chance to see interesting presentations and explore many innovations from the sector, as well as practical case studies about logistics in war conditions.?

DISCORDIA Provides 7 Scholarships for Students at the University of National and World Economy

We continue to support young people in their career path and that’s why we will award seven scholarships, each valued at 2000 leva, to undergraduate students at the University of National and World Economy in Sofia. Four of these scholarships will be dedicated to students pursuing studies in "Transport and Energy Economics" and "Business Logistics," while the remaining three are open to candidates from all other departments.
