At RBH driving operational excellence across our portfolio is paramount and we can only achieve our goals through our people.  As part of our people development strategy, one of RBH’s priorities is to create a hospitality career pathway for employees. To bring to life this ambition, Babcock and RBH worked together to create Bloom to support our #daretogrow strategy.

Launching on 3rd and 4th February, during National Apprenticeship Week, our first cohort of 15 internal applicants will began their journey of learning and development on the RBH Bloom programme. The programme adds real value to our training delivery as it is mapped alongside apprenticeship standards; giving participants a solid platform for progression across our business. The three modules of Bloom have been mapped to the L3 Team Leader/Supervisor apprenticeship standard, including: working smarter, great conversations, managing people & driving performance.

Open to new recruits and existing employees, the programme offers a fantastic opportunity for people across our portfolio to grow their careers and achieve their ambitions. We offer a variety of job-specific pathways ensuring RBH employees benefit from a tailored approach to learning that reflects their department and job role.

We celebrate the success of Sam Garrity from the Holiday Inn Express Doncaster who is the first RBH employee to achieve her L3 Team Leading apprentinceship - and with a distinction. Great news to hear as National Apprentinceship Week kicks off. We are certainly 'Fired Up.'
