What is Visibility…Really?

For small business owners, visibility refers to the degree to which we are seen, recognized, and remembered by current and potential customers, clients, and the communities to which we belong.

It’s really about being on the radar of the people who most matter to you and your business.

It's being Known, Liked & Trusted

Visibility is about being known, liked, and trusted for sure! And it’s about being top-of-mind when a customer is ready to pull out their wallet or credit card! Or when someone needs your advice or expertise.

Visibility is about showing up where your target market hangs out and making sure that you and your business are seen and heard. There are a variety of ways to expand your visibility and there are ways that you hide from your target market. Finding the ways of playing hide-and-seek and the invisible game and lifting those barriers clears the way for business expansion.

Why Is It Important for Marketing?

WHY is Visibility Important to Include in Your Marketing Strategy?

Let’s look at some reasons why:

  • Awareness:? if you are not visible and getting noticed, your business will not attract customers.
  • Stand Out: if your business is visible, it will stand out. You want to be the first choice over your competition when your target market is ready to purchase.
  • Trust:? If you are visible, you will earn trust. Your customers will appreciate the value that you promise, and credibility is built through showing up consistently.
  • Opportunities: If you are invisible, you will miss opportunities for collaboration, affiliation, and even partnerships. Visibility generates recognition and respect, which are invaluable.
  • Community: Building connections with your local community through visibility leads to the 3 R’s: referrals, recommendations, and repeat business.

Visibility is a marketing strategy that deserves attention on a daily basis.
