Powertrain details confirmed as Kia PV5 makes full debut

Kia has fully unveiled its new PV5 electric van.

Depending on spec, the van will be available with a choice of 43.5kWh, 51.5kWh, and 71.2kWh batteries, with a range of up to 248 miles between charges, and a 10-80% battery charge possible in 30 minutes. Power comes from a 163hp electric motor.

Additional training requirement for 4.25t zero-emission van drivers set for removal

The need for additional training to drive zero-emission vans weighing up to 4.25t is to be removed, the UK Government has said.

The government said it was laying secondary legislation before Parliament to enable standard category B licence holders to be able to drive zero-emission vehicles up to 4.25t, with the change expected to come into force in Spring, subject to Parliamentary approval.

New Isuzu D-Max Steel Edition revealed

Isuzu has unveiled a new limited-edition version of its D-Max pick-up truck.

The Steel Edition, which is limited to 250 units, builds on the existing range-topping D-Max V-Cross, with exterior features including Steel Grey Mica paint, dark grey wheel arch fender flares, rear arch extensions, and roof rails, a dark grey Isuzu grille emblem and Steel-branded side graphics.
