Renault gives UK debut to Master E-Tech at CV Show
Renault gave a UK debut to its Master E-Tech at the Commercial Vehicle Show as the large van took pride of place alongside the medium-sized Trafic E-Tech and compact Kangoo E-Tech in an all-electric line up.
The Master E-Tech, which Renault says will go on sale “before the summer”, will be offered with a 143hp electric motor and two batteries, at 40kWh and 87kWh.?
Used LCV values reach six-month high
The average value of used LCVs sold at auction reached a six-month high in March, according to BCA. The auction firm said the average sale price rose by 1.3% month-on-month to £8,855, the highest seen since September 2023.
BCA UK COO Stuart Pearson said: “With good levels of interest from buyers and confident bidding across the range of product on offer, BCA can report on a strong start to LCV sales in 2024."

The D-Max V-Cross Steel Edition, only 300 examples of which will be made, has debuted at the Commercial Vehicle Show.
ETRUX launches new Ford E-Transit Trizone
Conversion specialist ETRUX has launched its new Ford E-Transit Trizone electric refrigerated van.
The vehicle, launched at the Commercial Vehicle Show, comes with a GAH refrigeration system, temperature controls, chilling capabilities down to zero degrees, efficient defrost, and internal drainage to accommodate water runoff and spillages.

Mitie adds 5,000th?EV to fleet
The 5,000th?EV has been added to the fleet of facilities management company Mitie. The vehicle, a Volkswagen ID. Buzz, will be used by mobile engineers working across Mitie’s government contracts in the capital.Mitie says two-thirds of its fleet is now electric, as it works towards having a zero-emission fleet by the end of 2025.
Group fleet manager Heidi Thompson said: “Reaching 5,000 EVs is testament to our unwavering drive and commitment to reaching a zero-emission fleet."
