Volkswagen has opened orders for the new, seventh-generation version of its Transporter medium van.
The model is initially available as a panel van, with other variants including Kombi, Shuttle, and double-cab due to follow later this year.

Jameel Motors appoints UK managing director ahead of Farizon SV launch
Tom Carney has been appointed as UK managing director for Jameel Motors Farizon Auto, as the company prepares to launch the Farizon SV electric van here.
Carney is said to bring more than 30 years of experience in automotive commercial and retail operations to the role, and was most recently commercial and retail operations director at Inchcape.
