What are the values of highly successful people?
To begin with, the difference of values between highly successful people and ordinary people are their dreams, attitudes, vision, belief, skills, capacity, desire, determination, discipline and work ethic.
When ordinary people want to create their dreams, they suddenly feel like they have to place themselves into a situation of risk, disappointment, as well as a possibility of rejection and humiliation.
Many people would better have an ordinary life by not taking the actions needed to have the results wanted, than to have a dream life because they need to get out there, be fearless, take action, and experience the failures that often lead to success if they only tried consistently.
It is the major mistake people do make when trying to improve their lives. And that is sad! Because if you want to have big results in your life, whatever it is, you must do something. So if you desire a life of freedom and express your creativity, you need to be ready for a new way of living and being.
Here are some of the values highly successful people have in common:
Integrity. A successful individual requires being true to himself and to his mission…and that doesn’t come by trying to have hundreds of followers or partying; it comes by having integrity and find a few that love you and will support you through your journey.
Intuition. Highly successful people have the aptitude to pay attention to the adviser within, which is their intuition. You can learn to listen to your gut feelings and act upon it. Great things happen from the inside.
Correct mindset. Highly successful individuals go after what they want, full in, at 100%. They do not leave anything to chance. They don’t believe in a thing called luck, they call it smart and hard work.
Responsibility. They know that responsibility is indispensable to improve and better their own life. Often times, people blame their problems and lack of success on a situation or someone else they say wasted their time and energy. They remember that “their” life is theirs only and it is up to them to create the existence they want to live.
Winning mentality. They have a winning mentality that turns walls into windows, barriers into blessings and obstacles into opportunities. They always believed more in their dreams than in their reality, and transform their dreams into reality.
Strict working ethic. They never have a problem working 7 days a week. They work while others sleep. They learn while others party. They invest while the others spend. That is why they live like others dream.
Consistency. They are consistent in all that they do, they make progress and move forward while others make excuses and are left behind. This is how you build expertise and authority, but it is also how you produce outcomes.
Knowledge. They self-educate themselves, always reading, learning, they create their own source of knowledge and progress from masters before them. They continuously learn, but they also take the knowledge they acquire and put it into action.
Multiple incomes. They create other sources of revenue just in case of a rainy day. You need to see possibilities where others see feasibility, and make things happen.
Determination. Their future is determined by the work they do today, not next week or next year. They live in the present but with the foresight that what they do every day will secure their future and their ultimate legacy.
Passion. They chase their passion and their passion always wins. They know the money will come if they love what they are doing. This way, they won’t give up when times are hard, instead they will push through.
Motivation. They have such a strong motivation and believe so much in what they do that they are unstoppable. They don’t let petty things get to them. They believe there are are no reasons they can’t become successful.
Gratitude. They all know this. If they are grateful for what they already have, they will get more of what they grateful for. They do not take life for granted and do not think that all is due.
Family. They take care of their family and their loved ones. They set aside time for their loved ones as family are constantly their number one priority.
These are just a few of the values as they are others to take into account like:
- They often reassess or re-evaluate one self.
- They have an overwhelming sense of their need for growth.
- They have enough self-awareness to not let a bad circumstance access their emotions.
- They seek to win people, not arguments.
- They never define themselves by creativity, not competition.
- They do not follow what the crowd is doing or thinking.
- They find and have inspiration from things that offer and profit other people.
- They know that their lives are essentially richer when they help to contribute.
Hope it helps.
