These are great questions and key in any competitive market. In B2C you might also ask the questions; What action does the customer take if a call is abandoned and in what time frame? The commercial impact can be massive. Example: My wife has her hair done every two months, price £70. One day I surprise her and announce I am taking her for a posh meal that evening (now that would be a surprise I hear her cry), so she calls her hairdresser to get an last minute cut and blow dry, but no answer. If she thinks, I could try the new one on the high street it is not £70 at threat it is £70 x 6 as an annual loss. So the analytics are great, the live stats better, but what can you do to stop that call to the competition?????
